Heuristic Sound is an inventive music program that combines the principles of heuristic learning with the joy of music, creating a dynamic platform for intergenerational collaboration. The program seamlessly integrates older students, acting as mentors, with younger students eager to embark on a musical journey.
The term "heuristic" encapsulates the essence of this program, representing a hands-on, experiential approach to learning where discovery and problem-solving are paramount. Heuristic Sound not only nurtures musical talent but also cultivates a sense of community, as older students guide their younger counterparts through the intricacies of musicianship and the art of live performances.

The Perry Pride food program offers an array of food items, baked goods, and prepared meals to nourish both the minds and bodies of the students and staff of Perry Traditional Academy. With a steadfast commitment, these essential provisions are distributed on a weekly basis, serving not only to alleviate the burden of food insecurity but also to weave a tapestry of unity and belonging within the school community.
Beyond the academic year, during the Summer months, the program extends to approximately 50 students who eagerly participate in the football, band, and cheerleading summer camps. In these spirited gatherings, the Perry Pride food program continues its vital role, ensuring that each student starts their day with a hearty breakfast, replenishes with a satisfying lunch, and enjoys a nourishing snack.

Tech Connect is an innovative program designed to bridge the generation gap in technology by pairing tech-savvy younger individuals with seniors eager to enhance their digital skills. Our goal is to empower seniors with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the ever-evolving world of technology, including cell phones, applications, Google Chromebooks, and laptops.
From mastering smartphone features and exploring useful applications to navigating the vast possibilities of Google Chromebooks and understanding essential laptop functions, Tech Connect is committed to making technology accessible to everyone.
